Hilton Sydney’s Zeta Bar launches ‘Arabian Nights’
A Sheesha Chic Experience every Friday night throughout summer.
SYDNEY – January 2014 – With the temperatures set to soar this summer, transport yourself to an Arabian Oasis. Surround yourself with luxury and opulence whilst indulging your senses with an array of Arabian inspired cocktails, a spice market bar and sheesha pipes on the terrace.
Hilton Sydney’s internationally acclaimed Zeta Bar launches its latest Friday night concept, ‘Arabian Nights’ – a sheesha chic experience for the senses. Held every Friday from 14 February starting at 6.00 p.m., Zeta Bar will be magically transformed into an Arabian palace, encompassing the flavours, aromas and essence of Arabia complemented by exotic décor, including plush Moroccan cushions, lanterns and Moroccan elephants.
Zeta Bar’s terrace will include an additional outdoor lounge pod decked out with a luxurious day bed and Persian rugs. Guests will be greeted by a sheesha Sommelier who will introduce the splendour of smoking the hookah and guide you through the entire process including offering a selection of fragrant premium flavours.
All this combined with a range of specially concocted cocktails, taking inspirations from classic movies such as Casablanca, One Thousand and One Nights and Aladdin, each with their own story. Ranging from molecular to playful twists on classic cocktails, the menu features a mixture of aromas and spices including- cinnamon, star anise, Turkish delight, figs, rose teas, sumac and smoked fairy floss.
Partnering with Johnnie Walker, the cocktails have been carefully conceived to incorporate the flavours of the spirit. In addition to the cocktail menu, Zeta’s back bar will showcase a ‘spice market’ display whereby guests can select a spice to which a Zeta Bartender will create bespoke cocktails to order.
The Arabian experience does not stop there, the culinary playfulness continues through a Middle Eastern inspired bar food menu including grilled Harissa lamb cutlets with a potato humus and Muhammara sauce; a tasting plate of house made dips including a pearl onion salad with pomegranate; and to finish, a selection of Arabic sweet treats.
Launching to the media on Thursday 6 February, guests will be welcomed by live camels, Sinbad guards and performances by magician and illusionist, Adam Mada as well as Belly Dancers and fire shows.
The ‘Arabian Nights’ summer concept follows the previous successes of ‘The Secret Garden’, ‘Coney Island’ and ‘Farmers Market’ concepts previously held at Zeta Bar.
